Massachusetts law requires that a vehicle be at least 25 years old to qualify for collector car insurance. As quoted by Grundy. I f'n hate livin in mass. I have to pay $1200 a year and I am 41 yrs old with a clean driving record. That price includes a low mileage discount and AAA member!

They declined me because I'm only 24. Guess I'll try again in a few months when I'm 25

Yes grundy is a rip most of those "classic car" companies are. I tried with my old car and they wanted pics of the car Which had to be 100% complete no dent dings primmer off colored wheels and then the storage area had to have fire insurance flood and a lock w/ a security system Just Crazy

There's an insurance co. called Haggerty...also another called Brinch...and Progressive does 'stated value' policies from time to time.(thats what I cover my ty & stang with)

Hagerty insurance. Believe it or not Progressive has a good 'stated value' policy.theyre currently covering my Ty and my Stang. I dont know what variations there are state to state, but I just showed them my receipts.

Does anyone here actually have hagerty? I tried to get coverage through them and they said they couldn't find the Typhoon in the system (even when I said look under a model of Jimmy). They were like, at this time we don't offer coverage for it but maybe in the future when its older. Was that just a line of bs?

I have Hagerty for my Typhoon ($394/yr.) with a stated value of $15,000. I had to send pics of each side and where it'll be stored. I have Sneed for my Syclone ($303/yr.) with a stated value of $20,000. Same thing, they needed pics and where it'll be stored.

Call Classic 800-397-0765 called them today as im finally with in the rules for years and stuff for them i was told 345$ for the year with a value of 15000

yeah i went with State Farm after Hagerty said they didn't have a policy for the Ty and i'm paying like $500/6 mo so i want to get something WAY cheaper seeing as its not daily driven, I'll give them another call. Thanks
