I go out of town for 1 day and she works for Domino's Pizza...She took my truck to another store about 20 miles away to pickup food for the resturant...Try 25 Trays of Dough and some cheese...She put all this in the back!!!!!!!!Just got threw chewing her ass out went out there and the cladding is cracked on d-side and both sides have been rubbed down you can actually see where the tires were hitting!!!!My TY is lowered and the tranny is going, t-case is gone, no front propshaft I can only imagine what kind of damage she has done to my baby!!!!!I had the above problems before just FYI but any way can you believe that shit!!!

well that is the autotrader pic of my truck when i got in july...I believe it is lowered 2 inches but the guy didn't know he thouhgt it was all stock turned out its got 3" atr exghuast also...Doesn't look that good now though cause it leaks water in the sunroof and rear window so i don't wash it to keep from getting water in it...I have lots of problems don't let the pic fool you!!! Intercooler doesn't work, t-case fucked, tranny goin, no front prop shaft didn't have one when i got it owner didn't know that either, seal in the front and rear diff. are leaking, interior is now scratched up bad in the cargo area, seats are quite worn, cladding fading on pass side in rear, front bumber is chipped up from racing on rocky road(spanked a cobra though Feal pretty good bout that since all that I have wrong), has 117K miles, and needs me to give it lots of M. & T.L.C.(Money and tender love and care)LOL.....I hope to get it restored one day and run 10's with the AWD intact but the way it keeps going more shit will keep going the wrong way!!!!See-ya later

well to begin with i only bought it 6 months ago and shit has gone bad quickly!!!second i cannot control my WIFE not girlfriend when I am not here now can I...I don't drive it much but when you only have 2 cars and both people work it's kind of hard not everybody has everything handed to them on a silver platter like your ass!!!!!!I did not want or like to see people getting on other peoples cases and calling someone ingnorant or stupid will get your ass kicked...Finally I am not searching for sympathy just posting a topic Just something to talk about damn!!!!!Why is it that some people think they can be dicks????Oh and no my truck was really mistreated by previous owner so alot of shit including the shocks are fucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Buy a Chevette to get you around in the interim. Let people laugh all they want, you will kick their ass when the Ty is back on the road.
However, if you have some spare cash, why not ask the list for help?
Most have spare parts kicking around, or at least know where you can find some for cheap.
Most people on this list are more than willing to help!

Well sorry I reacted badly but still ticked about shit...Any way I am and have been talking to people like Brian H. just got a T-case off of Peter Humblias, getting the seals this week, new propshaft from Brandon sitting in bedroom, and ordering tranny Monday and all will be installed on Sat. week from today...then i'll work on getting a air-to-air, and shocks...once that is done i am going to start on little stuff like weatherstripping, grease boots, little rubber stoppers on bottom of lower a-arm and so on and so forth...I really have a lot of work todo to it and do realize I am fortuante just to have one!!!Actually traded a 95 GT Mustang and $800.00 for it go me...Its just one of those things like any other American car the older they get the more work they need exspecially when it was neglected for so long and I am tryting real hard to be nice...Right now I only put about 10 miles a-day on it and I have forgotten what spool up is cause I haven't done it in so long!!!!Forgot what the smell of rubber was!!!lol...lol Well once again sorry for explosion and hope to be running alot better in 7 days...

Bigjohn that was funny I will tell my wife that...I warned her that i was going to post what she did and tell her all the responses I got back to let her know what these things really mean to all owners...On another note don't know how true this is but was informed today that GM was planning a Syclone in 2004 made out of the new 2003 SSR...They said GM was going to do a turbo or supercharged inline 6...Like I said don't know how true it is since the SSR's come with damn Corvette engines so we will see!!!

We have to teach our wifes/girlfriends not to touch our toys. We have 2 vehicles 98 Concorde LXi (wifes car) and 91 Syclone (my truck). My wife is saying it's her car and my truck, she wont take my truck anywhere with out asking me first. And i don't take her car without asking her, works perfect. Besides that, she dosen't like to drive my vehicles anyway, she think they are to loud and fast. I remember when i had my 99 Dakota R/T and my wife had to take it shopping in the rain, she came back saying that she will never drive my truck again in the rain, it was to powerfull for her to handle in the rain. It's all about teaching :smile:

I don't let my wife drive my Ty. There are some great women drivers out there she's just note one of them! Early in our marrage she blue the motors in an 84 Blazer & an 84 Regal abmittedly note strong motors but you get the idea! My 86 GN/T-Type [technicly now my sons] is fast-mid 12s when running well so I NEVER let her drive it. I was as concerned about her safty as much as the cars. It did cause some dificalties initially but I was serious about it. Now she dosent want to drive them. I got her a red 95 5speed Saturn that she loves and with a little work is very pepy.

I road shotgun with my girl driving the other night. The first time i let her drive it, i wasnt even with her cause i had her car to work on it. i dont know when i was more nervous, when i was with her or not. My girl is a great driver, she used to run a 12's mustang herself and now she actually think she may want a syclone, so we'll see :grin:

Lol, seriously, I'm sure she didnt set out with the intentions of causing malice to the Ty, and I'm sure she WONT do it again... I encourage my wife to drive the Ty, heck she'd prolly post better #'s at the track since she's a FOOT shorter than me and 130# lighter !
Just chalk it up to one of those things that happens and set out on fixing it. Once she sees how much work you put into it, she will prolly know that you pretty much worship it too!!
