Plays well with others
I'm on my way to the valley early Saturday morning, heading north on Inglewood Blvd. A Mustang GT comes flying by as the driver's on his cell phone not paying attention. He gets stopped at the red light, has finished his phone call, and I pull up.
I'm not sure if he'll go for it, he's in his early 30's, I don't rev it to egg him on, but start creeping up to the limit line as the light get's close to turning green. I figure, I won't launch, he was driving like Ricky Racer earlier, chances are he'll get on it again.
Light turns green, we both roll into it sort of slow, but not that slow, I can tell he's getting on it, so I do too. I get about a half a car length in front of him, and he's not able to pull on me. I keep into it until about 40-45 (don't wanna get any expensive tickets), and he comes by me. Well, as luck would have it, I roll up to him at the next red light, and his passenger window is down. (he wants to talk)
He asks, "What kind of motor do you have in that thing?" I respond, "A V-6." He asks, "What's been done to it?", I tell him, "Nothing." (so I forgot to tell him about the 20g turbo, not sure if it's made a difference from stock turbo anyway) and he says, "Wow, that thing's pretty fast."
