I was at the race track over the weekend with my drag car and I had the Ty there so I figured I would take a few pics with the one week old 18" chromes on it. Not the best pics but it's looking pretty good. I also snuck one in there of me in my dragster. Let me know what you guys think!

Hey Boosted,

Wheels look realy hot.

Hopefully i will be there on Thursday for 8.50 index class and in the next 3 weeks to run the Typhoon for my 10sec pass. I have a few guys that i will be video taping there passes for the class. I may bring my Silverado down and make some passes that night too.

Tune Time Performance just did a tune on the truck so we wanna check it out and see what it runs now.

I haven't got my Ty down the track since I finally got it tuned it right. it ran 12.80 on a crazy hot humid day popin a little out the exhaust. It's way faster now. I also have Waller Performance vortec heads waiting to be put on, I think with race gas I can get it into the 11's. I'm concentrating on the racecar now which runs 7.2's and 184mph... Not to concerned with the daily driver.

Ty looks good. What wheels are those? Kinda look at C6 Z06.

Paint looks good on the dragster. Specs on motor? Plan on heading west any to do any Super Comp racing?

I agree 100%. Originally they sent me 2" spacers which looked ridiculous, but I had them swap them out for 1.25" spacers. I put those on and called back and they are sending me the 1" spacer which is the least amount possible they carry. Definately needs less spacer!

The wheels are indeed 2006 Corvette Z06 wheels. As far as heading out west to run some super comp, I doubt that. I do mostly big dollar bracket racing, I'm not a big fan of NHRA national events, opens, or divisionals. I stick to high dollar payouts, and multiple races in one weekend. The motor is a 582ci Big Block chevy, conventional head, single 1150 carb on methanol. Been as fast as 7.25 @185, 4.57 @ 148 in the eigth

You guys are correct. That is atco raceway. I am there just about every Saturday running my racecar in their points program, as well as their big dollar bracket races. Its an hour and change from me, but that's my home track.

Wheels look nice, although I'm curious why the rear sticks out a bit more than the fronts. Doesn't look like 315's to me, but it might be the angles in the pictures.

Get that rear wheel tucked in 1/2" or so, and you're golden. Those wheels make that truck IMO. Otherwise it's just another black/black Ty. Oh yea, the super shiney-ness helps too!

The rears are 285's not 315's. I also have 1" adapters on the way to correct the sticking out issue. I currently have 1.25" spacers on the back but 1" is as small as I can go with a billet adapter.
