What aftermarket balancer are people suggesting? The fluidamper or the peice in the pic quoted 5 posts above (what brand is that?) ---

Couple of things to add here. I got out my original and measured as carefully as I could, did the calculations, and I estimate the TDC mark is about 8.75* to the left of the keyway. Just shy of 1/2 inch.

Next, look at the pics of the old balances that have posted. See those holes? Those are used to trim the final balance of the engine. If necessary a small weight is inserted into a hole.. -0- plugged holes = -0- added weight.
