head liner... whats my options

My head liner just sudden started sagging....... which pisses me off because the truck hardly ever moves and it was nice out the other day so I took it to work a wooping 4 mile trip and the head liner came down some. So I was wondering what my options are here. I've done them before in a mustangs and wasn't really happy with the process. Is there a replacement head liner from the stealership or something like that I can swap in?

x2...go to the fabric store...I just redid mine with black felt ($12) + 3M spray adhesive...looks like brand new

hardtailcfl, do you have a Ty or a Sy?

I am looking to do my headliner over but it is not sagging, I was wondering if I should remove all of the gray factory "felt" material then put on the new stuff or just leave it on and spray adhesive over it with the new material?

I redid the ty a few times (wife kept changing colors,

if the factory is falling you have to remove it all

if the fatory isnt saging you can glue over it

I have a Ty and I scraped off all the gray crap that was on there. It wasn't sagging so I could have just sprayed over it but the previous owner decided to cut a BIG hole in the back of it to install some sort of overhead console

I can snap some pics tonight and post them up.

When my headline took a dive I asked a local body shop who to use. They refered me to a retired auto upostry guy that did small jobs here and there. He did it pretty cheap and did a great job.

I'll be selling some fiberglass door pods just like the marlboros have real soon if your interested . no need to put in that roof mount speaker setup , sound is horrible with those .

Are those like the ones Maitai was selling, kicks i believe. but he was also selling pods for the dash speaker witch i really could use.

Never seen the inside pics of a Marlboro. got something for me to see, a pic maybe? Def interested.

Thanks for the link Ralf. I thought they were a better part than that. i do need a headliner bad though, prob just re-do mine though.

I'm actually considering the headliner with the speakers.

From what I read, it actually accepts an aftermarket headunit and that will free up my dash for some guages. Thoughts?

I would rip out the speakers that come with the headliner of course. Put some Kappa's in there or something like that.

Besides, it was featured on the Gearz truck build this week.
