Heater line making contact with turbo pipe.

I have a RPM stage 3 turbo installed but it's making contact with the heater hose just as it connects to the radiator. What's the cure fort his? I have the 3" cobra hose on the way but would like some input. Thanks.

So the turbo air inlet is almost touching the heater hose? Is that with or without anything on the inlet as far as air filter or anything? I'm assuming that's with nothing since you ordered a Cobra elbow. You can always do what I did, I bought a 2000 S10 Xtreme radiator, cut the two big alignment pieces off on te bottom and bolted it in. It doesn't have the heater core connection on it. My water pump had a plug on the back side of it, it put a nipple on it and used that instead.

Re: Heater line making contact with turbo pipe.

I had the care motor installed by a local shop and noticed a few things that I'd done a little different. One thing I noticed was the heater line almost pinched by the TiVo pipe. I ordered the CAI kit and now it's even more of a restriction. I did notic other vehicles that routed that same heater line to the water pump like you describe. I'm hoping the cobra elbow will have the necessary clearance. Thanks for the input.

Re: Heater line making contact with turbo pipe.

Removed the heat exchanger next to throttle body and seen there was 2 PCV valves on the same side. My question is with the RPM cold air intake, can we get away with just using one PCV valve? The kit comes with a small breather which goes in the drivers side correct? Also does anyone have a part number for that grommet that fits in the valve cover holding the PVC valve itself? Thank you for any help.

Both got it. Is there a certain way they're being plumbed?

Damien, you wouldnt happen to have a link or part number for the fitting you used going in the back of the water pump?

I don't have a part number but I believe it was a 1/2" NPT to 3/4" hose barb. When you take that plug out, jus compare the threaded part to the new one. The heater hose is 3/4" though.
