Help a Canadian out please...

Hey everyone I'm kinda in a bind. I'm in need of a set of victor Syty headgaskets.

I think i pushed one out last night while trying to dial in my combo. Running the felpro's right now and have read all the problems guys have had in the past with them, I'm not very excited about putting another set back in :roll: .

If anyone has a set that they aren't using in the near future i could really use em. Time is running out before the nats.

The nearest ones i can get are about a week away. I will send back another set or just pay for em outright.

I'm not sure if hunter has an extra set from his engine build... I'll ask him tomorrow for you though.. .hope he's in the shop...

stockers are victors from what I know... have an old catalog right next to me...

just catch up with me at the nats. You will need that long to save up $$ for shipping anyways...

and if you get your GM set by then, bring them...as my replacements.

The shitty part is I don't think my headgasket was the problem. Took it apart last night and it all looks just fine

Oh well, at least I'm getting some good practice at working on my truck, like i need it :roll:

Naw, that would be just plain stupid.

Turns out that my cooling fan was the problem. It wasn't running concentric and it was actually shaking the water pump loose till the gasket would leak.

A friend of mine had the same problem a few years ago, man did I feel dumb when he mentioned that

Oh well, its all back together now.
