HELP Front Bumper Cover Doesnt line up with cladding big gap

My Ty is in the shop and the bodyman cant figure out how to line the bumper cover up with the rest of the cladding. It had a very light hit in the front and he had to realign the inner bracket, i have attached pics of what it looks like so far.

I took a bunch more pics if needed. Any Help would be very appreciated.

Tell him to loosen up the fender cladding and pull it out to match the front cover .

yes the fender cladding is supposed to have a gap between it and the sheetmetal at the front of the fender

does anyone have a close up of how its supppossed to look with the gap ? ive looked at a bunch of pics and dont see a gap in any of them, it looks completely flush.

well i got it worked out, thanks for the help, they line up pretty damned good now. Should be painted and finished by the middle of the week.

Well as an update it is going into the booth today =)

it might turn out ok. just if he takes it off, it prolly won't ever line back up again the same way.

not to mention if it vibrates or moves at all it will crack the paint.. and everything underneath isn't painted..

Yep, cladding should be removed. I personally would rather have old paint dull, faided then painted on truck.

Don't forget the rust factor under the cladding.

I have personal experience with this, does not work out well. Fortunately they only cleared mine with the cladding on, but I still have messed up spots on my front fenders where the cladding moved

You need to get your truck and run from the painter as far as possible and find another one. Anyone that would even for a minute consider painting it with the cladding in place does not know/care what they are doing.

Is it just me or does this cladding look WAY too close to everything?
I'm with the others... find a new painter fast.

Yea well its already been painted, should get it back next week, if its messed up will have them redo it. Im excited though..
