i dnt mean to be a poser or anything..but i was going to buy a ty and i figured it needed to much and with the cash i would have to put into it why not make my 91 s10 blazer fast? since i already have it and all...is there anyone that knows a good setup to put into my truck to give it powre? (i want to turbo charge it also) :turbo:

jwaller used to have a blower on his 4.3 Balzer at one time.

Also check w/ MarlboroTyphoon. He's setting up a N/A 4.3 in his truck that should be pretty stout.

if i were you and had to build that thing on a budget i would do a v8 swap.

fyi: you can get a decent body running typhoon for about 6k.

A decent body running typhoon for 6K...Where?!?! LOL...JK...I got mine for like 6500 and haven't had any major problems. There's a little rust though, but that's getting taken care of.

not ebay. look around the internet. i had to drive to indy but i got my sy for 8. its not perfect but i was pleased with the bang for buck. the tys i was looking at in the same condition were running about 1.5k less. maybe i was a little too quick to say that though since these figures are from 2 years ago. i haven't kept up with the market lately.

A decent body running typhoon for 6K...Where?!?! LOL...JK...I got mine for like 6500 and haven't had any major problems. There's a little rust though, but that's getting taken care of.

you could try machperformance.com they have some good stuff for 4.3L. They have turbos and superchargers.
