Ok I have been installing a remote start in my 92ty today. I got it all hooked up and went to crank it with the remote and it wouldn't start. It will crank but no start. I then used the key and still no start. Then I noticed the fuel pump is not running nor will it prime. ecmb fuse is stll good and if I jump the pump with the wire next to dist the pump runs. I'm sure I messed up a wire under the dash somewhere but I'm not sure what one. I was messing with the wires comming off the ign switch, could I have pulled one out of the connector? Everything else works just fine lights, radio ect... but now no fuel pump. Also I attemped to jump the pump and start the truck but it still woud not start. Not sure if the pump running that way would start it or not, or if I have also unhooked something else. HELP!

There is a fuel pump relay next to the windshield washer fluid bottle (drivers side fire wall).
Theres two of them together...swap them both with each other to rule it out.

Re: Help no fuel pump prime!

swapped em, no dice. Still no prime action. Has to be something under the dash I messed with. Does the ign switch on the column have anything to do with this? Thats about the only thing I messed with that gave me any problems.

Re: Help no fuel pump prime!

Now that I look at it I get no lights in the dash when I put the key forward. No eng or check guage or anything. Also ecmb has 12 power with key off and but i checked ecm next to it and it has no power with the key in off start or run, I guess this is my problem but what wire in the start switch on the column would be connected to that?

Re: Help no fuel pump prime!FIXED

Well after some more looking I found only 1/2 of my ecmb fuse had power. I started pulling off all my caps and found 1/2 of the pink wire from the ign switch had broken wires and was not getting contact. Patched it up and it all works like a charm. Thanks for all the help everyone.
