Help!

When I bought my truck there was nothing hooked up to this part of the throttle body my finger is pointing to. I can't upload a photo here, so I've linked a photo of it on photobucket. I can't find any hoses lose that would go there. Please help.

Nothing goes there. If I remember right its for coolant, but is not used on syty's.

In order to post directly copy and past the "IMG Code" from the share drop down.

It is used on Corvettes to keep the intake from freezing up by running engine coolant through it.
A turbo will do the same thing.

Nothing needs to be done,however, there IS a big port on the opposite side that needs to be capped off.

Is the port you're talking about the one that is sticking up behind the iac valve in my photo? If so, there is currently a hose that leads to a valve on the driver side valve cover. Should that not hose not be there?

Everything on your throttle body is correct. The port that needs to be capped off is the one to the left of your finger under the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). The hose to the right of that goes to the PCV valve on the passenger side valve cover. None of those ports on the bottom are used in our application.

Hope I'm not hijacking the thread, but I got confused reading the posts so far. I copied the image out of the Chilton's and added arrows color coded in red and yellow. Can you clarify which port should be capped and which port should or should not be hooked up to anything? Thanks.

Both of the ports that you have circled go to nothing. They are not used in our application.

Your in a warm enough climate I wouldnt worry about it.

Cap it off vs. leaving it open for sure ---

Leave them as they are. On other cars coolant runs through there.

Ok. So on my Syclone the port with the blue square around it in the diagram goes to the pcv valve on the passenger side valve cover. The port circled in yellow goes to a pcv valve on the driver side valve cover and the one circled in red goes to nothing. So should I undo the hose going to the driver side and cap it off? Is the hose coming from the port circled in blue correct in going to the passenger side valve cover?
