my dust that is.

older guy with a new Dodge Hemi pickup, exhaust, tinited windows with the 20" wheel option revved at me at a stop light this afternoon.

I looked and laughed. He said some smart ass comment basically like "whats that 'thing' got?", I replied "a V6 that will eat that Hemi shit for lunch", he said "yeah right", i said "bye", light turned green and turned into a speck in my mirror :)

Oh no, its over, thats it the hemi lost. I wonder how they going to do the new hemi comercials now. Its quick but not as quick as an 10 year old truck. :roll: :lol:

Makes me laugh now at the commercial with the guy all yippin and yappin at the driver as the driver picks him up 7 days a week.

I live in pick up truck wonderland "the west" ,and everytime I take the clone out somebody in a ford diesel or now the hemi guys come rollin up hard banging rev limiters and laughin,none the wiser to the black brick, if they catch up to me at the next light it's usualy something around the lines of "bet it can't romp out on the mesa though?" or "bet it wouldn't tow my boat"
"correct but my new Chevy HD does just fine!" is usually my reply if any!
IMO syclones are tri purpose vehicles

#1 put a smile on my face
#2 put a frown on their face
#3 make the drive to work a little better

hemidude is quite the joker. i think he is actually another syty owner just looking for shats and giggles. if not hes the biggest idiot on here. if he is serious, he should be banned. but wait, i forgot. 20" low grade factory chrome wheels make you fast. and the fact that the new hemi is barely a hemi. if you look at the new heads compared to the "real" hemi heads its a joke.

those friggin hemi's run like low 16's. they are slow as shit, i don't give a f what motor they have. also the low 16 is with a professional driver. can you say being beat by a honda? ::eek:k::

A quad cab 4x4 2500 runs low 16s, you get a RC 2WD with the hemis and they have no problem hitting high 14s/low 15s, yes no match for a Sy/Ty, but the quickest non-specialty market full size out there, quicker than a 5.3 Chevy and even Ford's vaunted new 3 valve 5.4.
