i installed a kit and it was plug and play. switch the main plug on the ballast, sometimes the positive and negative are reversed. its the one coming from the bulb to the ballast.

There made for Low beams! High beams HID only work when it's bi-xenon( high/low as one headlight but when high beam is activated a shutter is removed that cuts the top part off the beam pattern, thus the high beam).HID's have warm up time and this does not make sense for highbeam since you only use it for a quick flash, unless you intend to drive around with high beams on all the time :2cents:

Yes the high beam sometime just changes the bulb position, but some harness activates HI and LO at the same time, which that was prob designed for.

My high & low beam HID on my motorcycle has a steel blocking devise that when in low beam it partially covers the bulb, & when selecting high beam , the metal cover fully exposes the bulb, kinda lame ,but it works.

What type bulb are you using? Usually H4 hid have 2 bulbs, one for xenon and the other halogen for the high.
