yeah that sounds like a good idea...i just might have the make the antenna wire longer...i mean i don't really listen to the radio too often but when i do i like it to come in good. Right now i don't have the antenna mast in the rest is just sitting under my hood...better then a hole in my fender  the one that i gave the link to i might try out...1 out of 3 people said it was a POS...so it might be good and $36 shipped isn't too bad.Joey Allen said:I personally haven't done this but could you mount the stock one to the back of the grill. The way our grills are made you would never see it. Just a thought.
looks like the same thing as the one from crutchfield but $40 more :dunno:jjorgensen52 said:I have one from Dakota Digital I bought from summit... yes it has a box on the windshield, but it works about 90% as well as the stocker did. Does not like the mountains though

It is completely invisible from outside the truck

humm sounds like a lot of workstlSY said:I have had as good or better reception on some cars I have done by hiding a mast antenna inside the dash as I have with the small box antennas. I haven't tried one inside a syty, but I would imagine it would work about as well.
that would be cool...what is advanced auto parts..a website?tippmann243 said:i got one from advanced auto parts and it was 12 bucks IIRC and it works decent. some of the stations i lake are harder to pick up even with a regular antenna, and this think does a decent job of getting them
its a glass mount and it was well worth the 12 bucks. i can get pics if you like
