Jpalmer, in reference to your post; I have been trying to get a hold of Chris at CBR for almost 2 months. I was even lucky enough to be able to leave a message last week with a promise that he would call back ASAP. I am still waiting.

thanks, i hate it when companies dont seem to care about their customers, but we dont seem to have a choice on the matter here:( i wish they would give the approval to let Renz make them

Re: High performance front brakes

I'm actually pretty happy with my Drilled/Slotted Baer setup in the front (the kit with the silver calipers...uses 1994 corvette pads)

Where can I find a good Drum to disc conversion kit out there that will match up nicely with these?

Re: High performance front brakes

Everything I have read says the ls1 or C5 brakes are the best deal for our trucks

Re: High performance front brakes

on my car i know switching from hawk hps pads to hawk hp+ pads made a noticeable differece, it really grips now and they get better when hotter.

they are still a street pad but don't expect to get 50k miles out of em.

i am considering putting a set on the front of the ty to help with the sale.. the braking is really its only weak point.

I'm still looking for answers, but I've put on a set of ceramic pads with cross drilled and slotted rotors. Didn't cost much and it is a starting point. I'll let you know how it works out.
