In theory, wouldn't you have to run with the AC on for this to work? If so, that would be almost counterproductive in my mind. An engaged AC system drains some power but maybe the benefit outweighs the reduction in power....dunno.

Re: Hogging the market on ebay

so i got an email today from this guy....he basically told me that he owns a shop and is going to start specializing in syty restoration....he seems like a pretty nice guy, i told him that i currently have a syclone and was looking to purchase a typhoon...asked me if i wanted to sell my syclone, and said that if i wanted to purchase one of the typhoons he has he would try and work me a deal?

I saw that earlier today, those are very rare. I have heard about those AC Intracoolers, but I have never seen one FS (hell even seen one in a picture) in the almost 6 years that I have been close following SyTy's closely.

he must want this pretty bad. i just bid it up to 1100.00 and he was still the high bidder.

Re: Hogging the market on ebay

If he is trying to restore them why is he buying aftermarket parts? He buying up all the parts to resell in 4-5 years when they dry up Just like anothere syty vendor on ebay right before they go obselete he buys the remaining stock and marks it up accordingly. Poeple understand there is no market for these trucks in the collector car community they are just trucks to them

yet, hopefully the market comes around eventually, just like it does with everything else..

eitherway I love both of my trucks, no matter how much they are or aren't worth.

Exactally, I feel the same but until the people who remember them wher they we new get disposable income they wont pull Big bucks, those people who wanted them then are mid 30s-low 40s now and have kids and such so figure 15-20 more years :2cents:

Hey he bought my 92 typhoon (190037461660) and it did take him a while to pay for it , but he was a nice person to deal with, hell if I had money I would do the same thing that he is doing. Even told me if I was in Reno to come buy and see his collection.[/SIZE]
