ok...i'm working on some pricing / prototype set. I've sourced some better heims than the summit ones, and better bars than the afco. I should have a set of the shock perch/spring mounts en route....does anyone have a spare set they'd like to part with for educational purposes? :lol:

I'll throw #2320 on the lift this weekend and get something fabbed up temporarily till i have some parts on hand. I'll probably just start a new thread in RenzFab land once i have some pics to share. :tup:

All the parts from Summit showed up this AM. Maybe I can break way this weekend to fab up some brackets.

Id be in for Some prefabbed brackets. Would save me some time making the brackets.

well i'm waiting on the bars and heims to get here...but i did what i could do today. i got the bracket prototypes all designed and cut and test fitted...looks good so far. can't wait to get the rest of the parts so that i can get the first test set made and on a test vehicle!

don't mind the rust test vehicle...i woulda used #2320 but its too low to get on the lift... :lol:

Can you show better pictures of the front mount I thought they were suppose to be bolted through the front leaf spring mount. I like the back mounts/tabs any idea on how much your going to charge for the just the mounts/tabs?

I recieved my arms and himes in 2 days.

my front mount is different from the link you posted...and i purposely didn't post good pictures of it.

I need to figure out the appropriate metal thicknesses to make this stuff from. I will probably offer a "weld in kit" and a "bolt-on/complete kit" for those interested. I anxiously awaiting my arms and heims so that i can finish the mockup - was really hoping to have it this weekend but doesn't look like that'll happen.

I'll also probably make front mounts like in the link if that's the style that anyone wants. From my experience with this stuff though...most people will just want the entire kit and not want to have to deal with searching for hardware, measuring, etc....so i'd rather just have the entire package to offer for the masses.

The weld in kit of just brackets and mounts will be pretty cheap. I don't have final pricing on anything yet...but just the brackets and mounts will likely be in the $50 shipped price area.

1/4 inch for the plates should work. might get away with 3/16 depending on welding/design of the front mount, but people are hard on thing so I think I would just do the 1/4, would last forever

yea i was thinking 1/4 minimum...just need to make sure the heims can fit with that thick of plate. Plus i think i have a small sheet of new 1/4" that i'd been aching to cut up
