Depends. If you're looking for overall increases (economy, driveability, etc...), then yes, probably so. If it's just WOT that you're concerned with, it's a mixed bag of results. Nothing is going to beat seat time in the truck or tuning it yourself, but knowing what the ATR chip has and what we offer, I could easily customize a bin for you.

That's a pretty loaded question as we customize the chip for each customer. If we're talking 100% stock, then you'll see noticeable (but not orgasmic) increases in both WOT performance and overall driveability. Most of what our chip does is solve a lot of the problems inherent to the stock tune, such as (but not limited to)....removing 1st boost limiter, removing speed limiter, raising rev limiter, activating IC pump with key on, improved idle, cleaner spark maps, improved fueling at WOT, etc....

I'll be glad to address any other questions you may have, but most of the people on the board running one of our tunes has had it customized to some degree for their particular needs/mods/aspirations. Some run race gas, some want better MPG, and some want specific needs addressed.....so, it's tough to compare customer's results.

Looking for a nice safe tune. Don't want anything to blow up. Some people think I should leave it, as 2 kr max is pretty good. But I worry about the chip sometimes. It loves to overboost.

How much more would it be to get your chip set up for 3 bar instead of 2 bar?

"Removal of boost limiter" does that mean removal of the over boost code, or no boost control?

Basically I'm interested in your stock upgrade chip with stock boost control but set for a 3 bar map just so the truck can see spikes.
