The Hoovers don't deal in junk and don't own junk. The are class and bring a lot to the syty world. We are all waiting for others pull some low 9's, then maybe some grudge racing will be in order. I think the "badnewz" will be probably be a contender...can't wait for spring and see some low numbers! Post them when they are available. opcorn2:

A little hi-jacking of the thread here....

I've been meaning to ask for about a year now... "The Hoovers", are they any relation to Chuck Hoover (another class act) who used to run a Blown Alcohol Flat drag boat? Used to see him around but lost track of him after IHBA bought the right coast from ADBA.

It's a shot in the dark, but I figured what the hell.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread... :tup:

I don't see what they are gonna get lining up beside you aside from another victory? In my estimation you have two things right now.....a nice Syclone and a ways to go to even come close to times they have already put on the board.

Just so everyone knows, although that is a video of my truck, I am not really affiliated with the constuction of this thread. I am merely a pawn in a systematic plan by the buick elite to cause termoil in the sy/ty community

I believe most of us know that. It always a trip when someone (some that don't even own a syty and maybe not even a fast car) uses someone elses ride to cause a stir. It must an insecurity thing or something. We all think your sy is badnewz and fast. At the same time we know that Hoovers is 9.0 fast.

Have a fun summer and push those #'s down...

Your right. 9.70's would be an awful pass for the Hoover's. I think it's been 9 flat with the V6 and AWD. I saw it coast most of the 1/8 mile and still run 6.30's. Impressive
