how can i tell i have a typhoon trans and converter

they delivered my trans and i wanted to make sure it was a typhoon trans are their amy numbers i can use to tell and what number is the converter to make sure they sent back the correct converter

The stock converter has the code DECF.

Are you getting a new trans, it won't be syty trans. If you rebuilt one or buying a used trans. As for the transmission you can check if an original SyTy case, the 2nd, 3rd adn the 4th stamping will be LHM. The numbers are stamped on the transmission (they should be stamped on trans rail pain or driverside bellhousing)

If the case has been replaced you won't be able to tell anything externally, the case including SyTy are just a 700R4 case. Having a big company like jasper rebuild your transmission would make me very nervous they lost your SyTy VB and Governor. If you comfortable working on transmission (or bring it to transmission shop), you can pull down the Valve Body and see what the seperator plate is. The seperator plate should match the VB and will be SyTy specific, Sy's and 92 Ty have DT seperator plates, 93 Ty GS Sperator plate. They Servo should be 093 'Corvette Servo'.
