I laoded a BIN in the Ostrich and got the truck running and went to try to do some tuning and had the dash up and running. When I realized the BIN was way too agressive for what I have at the moment, I went home and got my hands on another one. So I loaded that one in and its way better but I cant get the DASH to respond the way it did. I also cant figure out how to record my runs. If anyone can hlep I would really appreciate it.

TIA

I have to load the drivers for any usb equipment(usb aldl and ostrich) running in TunerPro RT every time I restart my lap top, this may be an a problem specific to my set up, but you may want to give it a shot.

Once you get connected, you can simply hit hte red button up at the top of the screen. The black square will stop the run, and you can enter notes.

You can setup the ADL file that you want to record to under the ALDL options.

To log data, you need to create a file first. On the TunerPro RT page, near the top, immediately to the left of the two opposing blue arrows, you will see an icon that looks like a hand holding a paper. Click on that. A new page will open, and to the left will be a box that says "select log file for rec/play...", click on that. Then a box will open, and in the field "file name" enter anything you want. I label mine with the date, like "1-19-07", and a box will appear and say "that file doesnt exist" "create file?" choose yes, and close everything. You can now record by pressing the red button. To make a second recording, repeat the above steps and name a new file.

You can also record multiple sessions in one ADL file. Might be usefull for keeping the dates on your ADL files the same, and having multiple runs.....Just a thought.

Also, to make sure you are connected. Look at the ALDL setup screen (the button with the hand holding the paper), and make sure your data packet error count isn't climbing (shown in the upper right corner). If it is, then in the lower left corner, select the "silence comms" command, and send that about 50 times.....see if the packet errors stop. If so your dash should now be responding.

Hell yeah it was climbing. It went from 0-200 in less than a minute. I didnt think much of it to be honest. Ill try doing what you said and see if it stops.
