Thats why all of mine were A/T. I figured it out, and the trans out of my first one has at least 175k mi on it, and somewhere in the neighborhood of 1000 awd launches. When I changed the fluid in it the first time it came out straight black it was so burnt.Chunks of bearing were attached to the magnets in the pan. Took trick shift synthetic (know to kill a/t's) and mobile 1 synthetic (also known to cause trans problems). Its still going to this day, behind my friends 2.3 stroker dsm.

I also listened for a stutter box and could not hear one. I enjoyed my stutter box and NLTS but maybe that helped me blow all the parts. Talon's are definately fun cars but way too many are junk...
