no calvin pissing here. The 5 speed will not remain for too much longer i don't think
even though it makes for a pimpin gauge panel :lol:
fwiw i have all the parts to put it back to an automatic - maybe i'll throw a wrench session/beer fest/hick bonfire/party and have some kronies do the tranny swap for me :rotf:

But how far you take your eyes off the road is also important. It looks like your setup would not only be taking your eyes off the road a lot further than an A-pillar pod but you would also have to turn your head sideways and down too. It just seems a little more dangerous to me I guess.

Do you ever change the station on the radio? Ever glance at the radio to see what station it's on? Check the time on the radio? Swap CDs? Plug in your cell to charge? Takes no more time to glance at a gauge to see a needle.
Who needs to check their boost around a turn anyway? How much do you actually look at the gauges anyway while driving? I'm not a fan of a-pillar gauges becuase they distract you, are obstruct some of your vision.
