The original number is closer to 7,650 SyTy's and I have no idea how many are left. I will guess 7,296 ish :tup:
1990 Sy = 1 or 2
1991 Sy = 2995
1992 Sy = 1or 2
1992 Ty = 2450
1993 Ty = 2200
1994 Ty = 1

AFAIK, the complete breakdown is still unknown. Been covered a lot, including here:

My guess is that Green/grey is one of the less rare of the "odd" colors. Teal, red/red, and the "blues" are more rare.

teal is not rare its one of the more common colors behine black and white, Teal was in style when these trucks were new

I know of at least 1 green/gry that won't be accounted for. Guy I bought my Ty radio off of took it out of his green/gry after only owning it 8 months, buying it new. 2 weeks after removing radio, it was stolen, used to runs drugs from OH, to FL, was in a police chace, crashed at a road block, flipped, and caught fire. He doesn't remember the truck # being that it was so long ago, and he hasn't owned a syty since. So there's one that was written off pretty quick.

The blacks and whites are definitely the most common, but I have a hard time believing that teal is one of the more common colours. It may have been "in style", but I have yet to see a teal Ty in person. I've seen blacks, whites, greens, a red, and I own a blue.warmpancakes said:

The original owner of mine told me from what he's been told that the red/red combo was a special run of 50 or so. The GMC dealership with highest sales and delivery in each state was given one for their inventory that yr. Don't know if this is bull or not, but it sounds good!!

Because the green/grey has always been one of my favorites, I'm particularly in tune with them when they come up for sale, show up at meets, or are just around. I can tell you there are WAY more than 13 green/greys. I can think of several I personally know of in the east alone....and I knew of several when I lived in Los Angeles.

Red/red wasn't officially a color combo available in 92. I've heard rumors that the red/red 92s were actually painted with leftover marlboro paint. Also, rumor has it, there are fourteen 92 red/reds.
Red/red was an available color option in 93, but not 92.

I would love to know how many Green/Gray Ty's they actually are. I will be selling mine next spring and that could add to a better sales pitch and pricing.

Well, Im pretty sure that the marlboro rumor is BS because they are not the same color red. The marlboro's are a special PPG color.
