Hi all as a new owner of a Ty i was wondering how may are in the UK?. After searching syty i can only find about 2. The bloke i got the Ty from said he thought there was about 10 so does anyone know if he's right. :tup: :tdown:

There might be another couple in Scotland - you been on www.amvo.org? There was a Syclone/Typhoon forum bit but lots of owners bailed and they shut that part of the site.

Mike sold his on ebay for 6.7k buy one get one free.I was gutted I wish i had the money to buy them.:(

'there was an uk homepage russblend he had a syclone, there is also a ****ed up truck coming from dubai in the uk. glad i didn't buy that one, it was even sitting at a dock when i cancelled it. poor guy hided some info.

When i was looking about 3 years ago there i went to see 5 that are not owned by anyone on here( as far as i know?)

There were two other Syclones I saw but didnt get down to see for various reasons. One down south not far from Brighton. The guy has a garage the Sy is his toy but he was on holiday when I dropped in when I was down there. The other was in or near Blackpool. I don't know if those guys were in the forum though.

he had a water injection installed. russblendshomepage or soemthing, also listed trucks for sale. tips timeslips etc. was a nice site

Well there is Ruth and Martin O. from somewhere not too far from London? I email with them every now and again and believe they still have their Typhoon.

The original '93 Radar Blue Typhoon was in the UK. I don't think it's been spotted for about a decade though.

RAF Alconbury area near Peterborough. I'm thinking of getting an old Land Rover 110, but not sure yet. Still got the syty bug.

Hey what's up Bezerk? I wish you did too! At least then I would get to see it and know it was in good hands. The guy I sold it to obviously isn't a part of the syty community.

nothing muc, if you're looking for a rust frr sy, i have one for sale. just need an engine swap, comes with a good engine, that some ****tard put wrong headgaskets in. but it ran on 20psi on pumpgas with 0 knock. that thing was amazingly quick for a stock truck.

i thought you lived in italy? you moved again?

I am Martin O that Daron mentioned in his post.
I have sent you a PM with my details.

I have just caught up with the syty forum again after a break of around 10 years.
I have had my TY 12 years in UK (garage kept -show use mainly -nearly as new)
Followed your buildup thread - amazing perseverance in the face of adversity but what a fabulous result!

Went to the US syty nats in 99 and 00 where I met Daron and his wife Barb.
Planning to make a trip to the euro syty meet (treffen) next year.

Next UK show attendance will be at the Street Rod Nats in Ipswich 31st August

Yes, I seem to remember he kept his ty (black 92 I think) in london for when he was over here on business - dont remember his name sorry
