How not to do vacuum lines

I started working on a locals poor running ruck. The truck was seeing 4-5 in Hg at idle. I gave the vaumm lines shake and it went to 18in Hg. Yikes! Yhis is the line on the fuel pressire and MAP sensor. I can't imagine what it would do under boost if it leaked at idle. The midle one in the clamp over sized hose goin got teh MAP and FPR. The one on the bottom left is in the boost control, yeah that is going ot hold 15psi, it easi;y slipped out in my hands. The rest of the vacuum line on this truck were orginal, for once the original stuff was better than this hacked fixes. For anyone with rubber elbows and metal clamps please replace you vacuum lines (unless your SyTy has almost no miles)

The guy is from Albany, NY. He asked about tuning it 2 months ago.

So far his truck is running a lot better but it still has aways to go. Today is the first time I put some real time into it. Its still running pig rich (O2 mV are still over 900mV at idle.). I have found some hacks and it has a severe exhuast rattle when it brake torqued. I am sure it will will need a few other things, but I get get running perfect again.

I would be up for one... I hate messing with vac lines when i dont know how its supposed to be. I just want me nice, neat, straight, and RIGHT.

Yeah those kits kick ass.I put them on a few trucks and they are cake to install.
