I found that for most of the metal rivets you can get them off without drilling at all. I just use a center punch and a hammer...and smack the center of the rivet once or twice..until its about 1"-1.5" inset. Then just use some good snips to snap the rivet head off (might take some bending around to weaken). Somethings once the center is punched up you can just rip the rivet off completely.JKsSyclone said:The hardest part is drilling out metal rivets without melting the plastic cladding.
