How to identify swaybar?

So now that I have my ST sawybars for the Ty, I'm wondering what rear swaybar is currently installed in the Ty.

The bar runs across the top of the rear axle & has some large brackets (much smaller than the ST brackets) that some knucklehead (not me BTW) decided to weld to the frame.
Does this sound like an Addco rear swaybar?

Addco swaybar.. that's how the one I bought off Ed Hess like two years ago gets installed

OK, thanks.
Looks like I need to grind the brackets off of the frame.

Thanks for the pics.
Hmm, mine looks a litle different than that.
I'll have to take some pics now that I have it out.

Re: How to identify swaybar?

Maybe that is it. Is that a Ty chassis?
I'll have to take a pic of the brackets that they welded to the frame.
The brackets on the frame are C shaped & go on the outside of the frame rails, following the shape of the rails. They use a single bolt on the top & on the bottom that passes through the frame rail for mounting.

No thats my sy chassis . Your bar sounds like this one , I could see why someone would weld it on .

Here is a pic of the frame bracket I was talking about:

I spent an hour with an air chisel breaking the welds on both brackets.
I had to remove them in order to have enough clearance for the Belltech swaybar.
