See that's what's funny. No My Mustang is not faster than every Syclone but unless he's one of the top 5 or 6 fastest Sy's in the world, then yes, I will smoke him. Big difference in what I said to what he said.

No there's not. You're saying that less than 1% of Syclones built will beat your mustang. I will be willing to bet that ratio can EASILY be applied to his Syclone beating mustangs. Whats your point?

I'm not racing stock cars, and talking shit. As far as what the Mustang runs, suffice to say that twin T03's pushing 15lbs into a stroked 302 is more than enough to run the times.

He's not talking shit, he's just sayin he beat a mustang with his Syclone. I've done the same thing, several times. Big deal, if you own a syclone, or have owned one in the past, you know damn well a near syclone will beat a near stock mustang hands down, especially on the street. So what the hell's your problem. This IS a Sy/Ty forum, not a mustang forum. If he beats a mustang, big deal, I can't think of any syclone owner who hasn't. He's not disrespecting your car, so what do you care?

How would you dig it if I then posted that I made some Brand X kid look like an ass?

If you beat him in your mustang, then posted on a mustang forum that you beat a syclone, I don't think ANYONE here would have a problem with that.

You don't see me cryin if some kid on my local mustang forum says he beat a syclone, especially if it wasn't mine. Good for him. If you really think that his Syclone will outrun 99% of all Mustangs, then you got some learning to do. Maybe 99% of stock Mustangs, but I would venture to say that due to sheer numbers of the car, there are more 11 second and faster Mustangs on the road than any other car. So no, he cannot even come close to beating 99% of all Mustangs.

As far as my times, and you disbelief, go check out www.turbomustangs.com, you will find that a 10 second street car is nothing special there.

In closing, I have absolutely no problem with this guy posting a kill story, shit, I beat Stangs and Camaros and the like all the time up here. It's the attitude and pointless insults that make him look like an idiot, and give me reason to call his ass out, and I always will. You see, real car enthusiasts don't have the idiotic prejudices. Sure we will always have our preferences, I prefer Mustangs over F-Bods, but you don't hear me disrespecting F-Bods and spouting off about how much they and their owners suck every time I beat one. It's very simple, don't be stupid, and I won't get on your case.

Who gives a shit about mustangs, fbodys, etc. If a SY or a TY has beatin anything on the street, we like to post it here. This forum is called "SyTY Kills".

If someone talked shit on my 1987 nissan maxima with 215,000 miles and doesnt run... i dont think i would give a shit.
If you have a problem with whoever talked smack on your mustang, email or PM him PRIVATELY and tell him how u feel. Cause i dont give a damn.

you dont like it so be it. i never said i beat every stang or other car out there. and last i saw ford made the stang. so thats how he is a ford guy. if i knew his name then i would post it. thats why hes a ford guy. grow up put down the legos. so the way i see it you were being the dick i posted what went on. it seems like evrybodt else on this board is cool about this post. if he didnt rev his flowmaster's next to me then there would be no race. i can't see under his hood. the stang was not stock. as far as i saw it had flowmasters on it. as far as what else he has i don't know. its always gonna be a ford vs. gm battle. live with it. i never said i hate ford, but its not my top choice.

how many Syclones were made? 2998. how many are probably on the road now? maybe just a lil over half of that, 2000 tops... out of 2000 id say 70% are well maintained and taken care of by people that love these trucks... taking that into consideration, id say 70% run a 1/4mi in under 14 seconds...

now, how many mustangs are on the road? god who knows... and id say the ratio of people that drive mustangs that are into performace are maybe... i dunno we'll generous, and say 15% of the mustang population mod them to make them faster... but, keep in mind that a majority are in stock form.

now considering there are a less number of Syclones on the street than mustangs... that would indicate that, the Syclone is going to run under 14seconds. are you still with me? ok... now considering there are 500 times the mustangs on the road (probably more)... you gotta figure that the guy in the Syclone is gonna own the guy in the mustang cause the mustang is most likely going to be stock or lightly modded, but still not faster than a Sy... Statistics dont lie.

So i agree with the majority of the Board in saying that SyTy's own Mustangs.

I care because I am part of the SyTy community and it's turning into the domestic equivalent of the Supra community. It's changed for the worst in the last two years, and it's sickening. That's why I care. I love my truck, and I love how well it does on the streets. We own the stoplight wars, no doubt. But when a lot of our pride and love of our trucks is overshadowed but some kid who uses his pride as a club to insult other drivers and their cars because they may not be as fast as him, I care. Should I not?Probably, but since I am part of this community, it reflects badly on me when numbnuts like roberto post juvenile shit like that.

oh, and per capita, I don't disagree for a second that SyTy's own Mustangs in straight line performance, that's why I said sheer numbers. But 99%? Not a chance.

Roberto sorry to come on your thread and post but this stangnerd is really just an old man with hemroids, look Ill run anything that I feel needs to be taught a lesson, funny story is that sometimes when I go to fuel up ( which doesnt happen that much cause Im a student and broke) Ive seen 2 Ferrari on us1, had to happen when I was fueling up. But I will tell you this, that if I caught them at a red light I would have showed them some GMC Suv power. Even if I would have lost (probally not by much) they would have been impressed that a 8k suv (what I paid) could hang with or beat an atleast 100k $ car. Heck if I see a Syclone Id run it too just for the fun ( only time I ever see a syclone is when I go to my friend garys house or pass by big als job) other then that I dont see any SyTy. Point of the story is you race what you can. Im sorry If I beat a mustang Stangdork, next time Ill ask for your permission to race one.

Ps I think your on the wrong board StangDork, why dont you try http://forums.stangnet.com/ since you like stang so much.

I guess I only still have 3 concerns.

1. You(standfreak) were wrong in the way you replied to the original post. Now you're saying how you know Sy/Ty's rule the stoplight wars, sylcones with a couple mods are faster than mustangs with a couple mods, so on and so on. But it seems as though you continue on to defend the mustang? We're not talking about your car? I find it really supprising that you didn't say right from the start, "cool, you toasted a mustang, I do that in my syclone too. Just gotta watch out for the TT ones like mine." That would have been a lot more civilized, and would have made nobody mad. I though you had a syclone, so why be an ass to fellow syclone owners? Thats what makes the Sy/Ty community bad. And if you listen to any of the Sy/Ty community talk, we're fine. I really don't think there are many assholes in the Sy/Ty community, as long as you know them.

2. You said your mustang has these twins or whatever but refused to say what it runs. I'm gonna take 3 guesses here. Either,

1. It's not running, so it's never been to the track.
2. It's not tuned, and runs 12's, but if you said you have a TT mustang that runs 12's you'd get laughed at, as should anyone with a 12sec TT mustang.
3. It doesn't exist.

I've seen many TT small block stuff that hasn't run right or their still working on it or something's broke, whatever the excuse may be, and it runs very unimpressive numbers.

3. What is the total mustang production? Millions. And how many of those are v8's? Mabey half. And of all the v8's, how many are modified? Not many, so how would a syclone NOT be able to beat 99% of mustangs out there.

Yes, There are thousands ofmustangs out there that would have killed him, but compared to the Millions that they made, that isn't shit, I bet it's less than 1%.

I ran a 11.23@118 letting off at the 1000ft mark. I let off because I heard a ping and didn't want to toast the motor. At this moment, the upper intake is off and the hot pipes are off, because I found a lazy injector, and decided to swap them out. The pipes are off because I wanted to clean up some welds. Oh, and I ran that time at Bandimere, which is 5800ft. I'm not sure if I'll take it down again this year, the track is only open for another month and a half or so, and I'm probably going to go to a standalone this winter, so I may just get an early start.

I need to respond to this. You haven't read my posts have you? I am not defending Mustangs. I'm talking about the way this thread was started. The attitude of the originator is sad, and reflects badly upon other SyTy people. He's an idiot, and I called him on it. It's not a Mustang thing, so forget about that. It's a stupidity thing. Look past my screen name and read my posts, you might learn something.
