Re: How to set Blake TV cable?
yea, the Blake cable, has a "clicker" also, but it doesnt click, you have to manually set it, it doesnt set itself. also, the steel cable's length is adjustable. So there's 2 adjustment points.
I did mine with the pan off.
1. Have someone step on gas pedal.
2. Release TV cable lock, pull back on TV cable.
3. Set TV cable lock.
4. Get under truck.
5. Have someone step on gas pedal or rotate throttle linkage to WFO (wide F'ing open).
6. Check to see if TV plunger is fully depressed into valve body.
7. Return throttle linkage to rest position.
8. Release TV cable lock.
9. Move the cable inward 2 notches.
10. Set cable lock.
11. Repeat steps 4-10 until the TV plunger is all the way into the valve body without overtravelling (TV cable to tight). As the throttle linkage just reaches its' stop, the TV plunger should reach its' stop as well.
