I've had my truck for a couple weeks and it still amazes me that I finally got the vehicle of my dreams. I hope the new never wears off. For you guys who have had there rides for a while, do you still catch yourself looking over your shoulder to get one last glance before you go in the grocery store, restaurant, house, etc.? Do you still catch yourself trying to get a glance of it when you are driving by a building with tall glass? Just wondering

i always look at my truck.... cause the minute i wasnt looking at it... some asshole had to come along and key the entire passenger side of my truck....

now im left having to repaint the entire truck.

other than that, yeah, going on 5 years owning the sy and im as happy as ever... even better was buying my wifes typhoon with bdubb and finally getting it home and pulling up next to the sy....

i always get a kick to see the 2 trucks sitting together, and the reactions of people seeing me and my wife is great....

Always. There's a couple of places here in Fort Collins that I drive by specifically because they have glass fronts. :) and whenever I park somewhere, I always turn and look at the Ty and think to myself, "I own that? yeh, i own it. :D" and I've only had the truck just over a year.

Yep! Bought mine new in March '92, and since it's been covered up most of its life(Odometer reads about 10,500), whenever it's uncovered I'm lookin'! :D

I've had mine for about 5 years and I still get that feeling. Even when it was my daily driver it got the same attention and the same thrill hitting the gas.

That's the line I was gonna use, but damn, you beat me to it. I've only had my Sy for almost 2 years now, but I do love lookin at it everywhere I go. I swear everytime I drive it, I have at least 1 person compliment me on it. It never fails!

I've had the truck for 3 years now, and its amazing how often people give the thumbs up to it, and I always look everytime I go by the storefronts with the glass.

Oh yeah! It feels good!

Well, just kinda what I want to have soon. Except I'd rather have Grand National instead of the Impala. I have the Syclone, I just traded the black one for the syclone. Hey it was only 35k mileage Syclone. I want to have black Typhoon someday then I will get the Grand nation. Oh well, I'll just keep dreaming.

Well, having kids and with the wife's family in Texas the Impala is the better car for me. It cruises @100 with no fuss, is very comfortable and still gets 24-26 mpg. My syclone just turned 23K.

Well, the GN in 87 - 14.23 the Impala 15.0. Top speed GN 125 Imp 142, Gas mileage GN 16/25 Imp 17/26, HP GN 245 Imp 260 . Impala has major advantage in handling and braking. While it may not have the collector potential of the GN it has one major option the GN did not. FOUR DOORS!!!!!Ever try to get two kids in and outta a two door car? It's a major PITA! :D :D :D

yeah 4 doors would be nice for those who have kids. Not me. lol.

Not only that GN is turbocharged car so it wouldn't be hard to make it much quicker.

I still want one someday.

i saw a stock gn dyno a little over 400 ft/lbs of torque and close to 300 hp. with a chip the gn will go well over 125. but i definitley see the point with the whole 4-door/newer thing.

Oh I agree. In a perfect world I also would take the GN over the Impala but....
