How's the quality of cladding from Sportmachine's website?

I got he back bumper cover and rear corner piece.

Both of them sucked hardcore.

The bumper cover had lots of places it stuck in or popped out of the mold.
There were bubbles in the resin that broke out and left lots of places that needed fill.
The piece was crooked end to end as well as twisted, PITA getting it on the support straight.
There were lots of "Low Spots' were the fiberglass was not spread evenly.
It was molded with the rivets in so you have to grind out all the areas the rivets go.
The edges are thin so its VERY easy to damage in shipping and in prep handling.

The rear corner piece did not fit flush.
There is not enough mounting tab on the lower portion to get the rear most rivet back in.
The "pins" that are supposed to align the rear wheel arch were twice as big as needed and required lots of file work to even closely resemble the stocker.

Basically if you go this route expect LOTS of prep work.
Its a great alternative, but what I saved in cladding I wasted in prep time 5X.

Next time I am hunting down OEM urethane.

I bought a complete Ty kit from Paul. I just got thru putting it on yesterday. It took me 4 hours to put all but the bumper piece on, and I only had the holes drilled for the fender wells before I started. I would say as for my kit quality was pretty good. And yes I will have some small things to do, but all and all not a great deal. I feel that when finished it will look 10 times better than plastic.

I bought a front left and right fender piece, both needed some modification to be able to install and looknice..

they are 'ok' pieces and quite a bit cheaper than going to rockford racecraft..

I just got the Passenger-side Rocker cladding from Paul, it was not in bad shape at all. There is a few spots that need to be filled, but he did mention it to me when I talked to him. Overall, not a bad deal for the $$.

I'll let you know how it turns out AFTER the bodyshop actually puts it on.
