check this out. www.hydratechbraking.com . The only welding that was done to the hydroboost was welding the rod from the power boost brakes to the hydroboost.

I have access to a few Hydro boost setups. I will get some pictures for you if you like. I can get the whole set-up to you for $100-$115 shipped. Let me know if your interested. I am actually getting ready to install one on my SY as well as a friends Sy so I can get pics easy

thats where I've bought several of the systems I've installed. top notch product and support. comes with everything you need and all 1st class components and their units are new and come with internal mods that make them even better. I highly reccommend them. the plates are billete and lines are braided stainless hydralic lines

I have not heard anything from Syclone0565 so i'm not sure whats gooing on with this? I went ahead and picked up two hydroboost units from my local juckyard.I'm going to start looking for the rest of the fittings and hoses.

i finally went ahead and got a hydroboost off e-bay , $75.00 , looked like it was new. checked with jegs for the fittings last week and they said one of the o-ring metric fittings was on back order till end of febuary... bummer..

like i said before, you can go to the local auto parts store and buy lines, and with a little tweaking you can make them fit just fine. the nice thing is it looks totally factory when your done if you take your time, and you will have less than $50 in the lines...

i'll probably end up going to the parts store and getting hoses , was going to go braided lines for the "bling" factor. would i order the lines for ? my hydroboost supposedly came off of a 92 astro van i believe. just get lines for a astro ?

what a sweet inexpensive upgrade. would it be better to use one from a 1 ton truck opposed to an astro? does anyone know if I can use astro power steering lines on a k truck booster?

I have been real busy. Sorry. I have the hydroboost going on the truck for fit and the lines are going to be made in the stainless stuff in a day or so. I have to pull the dash to do it right and its just COLD outside right now. I still should be able to offer the whole kit in a box to your door even for around the $200-$225 range with brand new braided stainless lines. I do not have the price on the lines yet so I can't say for sure till I get them installed on my sy.

I will let anyone interested know what I find out when I get the prices.
