I changed the spark plugs out and i have a question about the old ones. I used the stock CR42TS for the new ones. The old ones dont look like the CR42TS. The top of the electrod (cyclinder part not the very top) looks like a torx driver and they were gapped to .50 ( they were AC delco plugs, because it said AC on the side). The truck ran fine never noticed anything bad going on. Just wondering what kinda performance decrease this could of gave me if any.

Sounds like AC Delco Rapid Fires. They were gapped pretty wide, which could either help or hurt idle & drivebility, depending on the condition of the rest of the ignition system. But, the Rapid Fires have been known to misfire at high boost levels, even when gapped tight (and your wider gaps would make that problem even more pronounced)...so, you will most likely notice improved top end power with correctly gapped stock plugs.
