Ya know, that might just be what this guy likes to see. Maybe he was picked on and aggravated as a child, then he inherits his parents fortune and now this is his way of getting even with society. I don't see no callaway or gnx. So no apology. As I figured there's no callaway or gnx. You knowledge of vehicles is as cloudy as the quality of your pics.

Their is no evidence it isn't a Callaway either. The Visual clues for 87 Callaways are the hood (a few didn't even get the hood) and the front & rear Callaway circule emblems that look like the Corvette emblems from a distance. The interior cues are boost guage and plaques that owner received after buying the car that he or she may or may not have installed. C4 aftermarket hoods are rare, as they are structural to the car. No one made a 1987 Callaway Hood, yes some could have grafted them into the hood like Callaway did. The original poster, said he has seen under the hood, rode in it, and his father tried to buy the car. I would put my money on it being a Callaway

We are paying attention. I posted the pics for him. Yeah, there's some ribbing going back and forth, but compared to some of the crap that went on towards the end of the year last year, this stuff is pretty tame. :lol:

LOL Yeah, I hear ya...I been following the thread and I usually keep to myself aside from the normal ribbing here and there...I just don't see getting into an argument through a computer screen, though. I suggest just locking it now. Why wait for the bashing to escalate? The guy made a claim and partially backed the claim up with pics while confessing he did not know the difference between a Regal, T-Type, GN and GNX (somewhat understandable). This thread had achieved its purpose IMO and if a newb keeps jabbing at senior members, like Norm, who have loyally contributed wealth to this forum, it is not gonna steer things in the right direction when they respond.

Everyone needs to just relax. A post was made. Trash was talked. Pics were posted. Errors admitted and some apologies were made.

Look at it from his shoes.

He legitimately saw something that people said couldn't possibly be true and was given all sorts of crap for it. He went back and got pics. So he made a mistake in thinking there were GNX's in the field also. Big deal. If you don't follow Buicks, it's an easy mistake to make. The Callaway is very likely real. The Syclones are definitely real. Even the Turbo Regal is possibly a rare one.

I'll say it again: everyone just needs to relax and move on.
