I LOOOOVE Overland Park, KS! <sarcasm>

For those who dont know I got a ticket when Jimmy and I arrived in KC for "exihibition of speed". The cop was a real smart ars and he made me take a breathilizer test and searched the car. Im not really sure how fast I was going but it wouldve been better if he gave me a speeding ticket. So I starting calling the Overland Park Municipal Court the monday I got back from Nats and the cop never would turn his tickets in. I told the lady that I live over 575 miles away and I need to get this taken care of ASAP so I can make travel plans. My first court date was 10/1. She told me to write the judge a letter. So I wrote the judge a letter and sent it and a copy of the ticket certified mail. I called them again after the USPS said they got they letter and they said they never got the letter. I told the lady that she better look again. So they sent me a freakin letter and I have to go to court on Oct. 26th at 3:00 PM or they will issue a warrant for my arrest. So I guess Im going to rent a car that gets good mpg and start driving after work thursday (10/25). Stay in StL thursday night and driving the rest of the way friday morning, Anybody in St. Louis or KC got a spare bed or couch that I can sleep on for a night?

Yet another example of our tax dollars (not even being close to) hard at work....The law is getting more ridiculous everyday. At no time do you have to submit to any of their stupid tests (Breathalyzer and walking the line)...this is entrapment. I love to hate the show cops...it shows so much abuse of power by the pigs...oh and you should watch American Jail for a real laugh at abuse of power...our legal system is such a JOKE...Just my 2 cents (more like a quarter's worth).

I would have gotten ahold of a lawyer that is local to Overland Park and see if they knew the prosecutor.
Thats how I get out of all my tickets.

the warrant is only good for KS....they won't come get you in TN for it. Doubtful anyway.

I would handle this from afar personally...its not worth driving all the way there for this.

Overland Park... years ago I actually spent the night in the OP Jail House. I was the passenger in a Hyundai Exel that was street racing with a mustang after a night of TitTy bar hopping. Long story. While the driver had to go into the pokey, we got to sleep in the cop reception area. I puked my way thru the night in Johnny Law's john.
I just remember that crapper being so nice and cold.

The way theyve treated me so far Im thinking Im going to be like Daron and have to spend the night in jail. This is the craziest crap Ive ever been through in my life.:rant: I'll just have to remember to take a dump before they take me in. Im not a big fan of the freezing toilet.:lol:
