i need help, attn vendors

Since my Sy hit the deer and i have to mess with the insurance comp, they want an invoice which i cant come up with, or a estimate/quote to replace a couple of items.

So if any of you could come up with a high dollar quote for an aux heat exchanger, ic pump and lower heat exchanger for me i wouold greatly appreciate it, insurance guy is coming tomorrow and i need all my shit together, i thought i had one coming in the mail but i guess it isnt going to show up.

Uh all those parts are in the crash book for the truck and dealer stuff is way more priceyy then aftermarket

I would go to the dealer and get a print out of the list prices for the parts needed. Some guys may even have the part numbers to make it easier for the parts guys. Some of the parts guys around here are worthless, but some other are very good at finding that stuff.

Just have a body shop write a estimate, its their job and insurance wont trucst you

the body shop tried, my adjuster said the dealer wouldnt do since they were not GM parts, aux cooler was not in our database on crashed truck list, and the IC pump was mounted under the hood in plain sight for the insurance guy to see that it wasnt stock and they only want to replace what was there, stock ic pump is $600+ and they dont want to pay that.

my insurance company almost shit himself when he found out the cladding i needed was almost 1500 for my last typhoon.

his resposnse was, "its just a jimmy"

i told him, "thanks, i'll be dropping you guys and finding someone that can, like state farm."

he said," i'll see what we can do"

after that everything went way smoother.

Take it to a GMC dealer for the estimate.They have all the part numbers and dealer prices.

Even though everything is discontinued,tell your bodyshop that you will get the parts and just have them pay you dealer cost for them.

We can get you everything you need,but it will be expensive. (But cheaper than dealer list on parts they don't make anymore)

You have full coverage insurance ,it doesnt make a **** what they want.It's your truck,you paid the premiums,now it's time for them to hold up their end of the deal.

Just think aboot it for a sec,you been paying them for years "Incase shit happens"
