i took it to the local 1/8th mile for some playing since the closest 1/4 is near 4 hours away

was kinda wondering everyones input and a 1/4 mile guess? is that a good time with my mods?

i bought the truck on this forum the weekend between christmas and newyears. so if theres any other mods im not sure
old pitbull chip
stock injectors
short intake
msd box/distributor/coil/wires 6al im guessing, is mounted behind the bumper and cany see the front
BBK crank and waterpump pulley
16" electric fan, no clutch fan anymore
magnaflow muffler
2" drop front and rear
14-15 on the autometter bost gauge
180 or 160 T stat, not sure it was already in there with the chip
fuel pump ?
fuel pressure?
timing?
cam ? sounds stock
no traction mods
stock worn turbo with lots of end play
177,000 miles on the dash

14.0 or maybe better. but thats about it. low mph so your going to have a hard time catching up on the big end.

Those time aren't bad at all. I would guess 13.1-13.2 at 98/99mph, comparing them to my Sy's timeslip.

I would say a nice solid 13.5-7 is where you'd stand.

...If I assume you meant 8.381 seconds for an 1/8th mile, the following calculator
http://www.fastnuf.com/QMC.html says your 1/4 mile times would be 13.15817
which is really quite good for a "stock-ish" Typhoon. Typically Syclones are faster
since wheel base and weight are better.

thanks guys i was thiking a low to mid 13sec 1/4 one day ill get up to a track and see :tup: after i get a few more mods that is :2cents:

on one hand i'm starting to get antsy to get mine to the track, on the other hand when i am driving it again i don't want to blow the tranny racing. the best i got on my stock build minus front prop shaft and intercooler(figured that out that nite) low boost was 14.2 @ 96 so you're doing good
