IC isn't getting any power

I noticed today that my IC pump wasn't coming on. It is NOT getting any electrical current. I have had the yellow wire grounded since last year. The fuse at the back of the alternator for the IC pump is okay and that wire is getting power. However, the yellow wire is not. Any ideas?

could be that the IC pump relay has died. have you check to see if your getting power at the relay?

I just ran into the same issue with my Jabsco...ended up following the troubleshooting steps in the Sy/Ty Supplement manual. Basically, the steps are get a testlight and check power into the relay.

Following the steps - my issue ended up my relay was bad.

The pink/black wire should have power when the key is on - check with testlight. Might also want to test your grounded yellow wire too. Hook up testlight clamp to your ground and find power source (there is a terminal block to the left of both relays...powers the hood light) I ended up jumper power (splicing) into this pink/black wire and running it over to the right side of the brake booster where the the stock wiring to the pump runs down the drivers side area. There is a 3-wire connector with a orange, black (?) and green wire - I spliced into the orange. Thus byassing the relay altogether. Hope this makes sense....kinda hard to describe.

Thanks guys. I found out the problem this evening. The place where I grounded on the yellow wire was corroded and not flowing the juice to turn on the IC pump. I wire brushed it and now it's running again.
