Ic Pump No Worky

Ok guys first let me say I've done every search and have done everything that was mentioned to fix this problem.

92 Typhoon 30k stock
I just did a few of the basic mods
walbro (working great)
electric fp guage (38psi at idle & 1 pd per boost)
fpr
full ign tuneup
boost gauge (both gauges wired to open ign in fuse box & the lights in a open inst)
ic pump hotwire (first mod about a year ago)

I'm still running the stock chip. I have a ultimate but until Datamaster tells me my knock is down to 0 I'm not installing it.

First checked the fuse behind the alternator, it's fine.
Didn't get under the truck to check power to the pump before I ordered a new Johnson pump. Installed pump & nothing. Tested power, none. Figure I got a better pump out of it.
replaced ic relay, still nothing.

Checked every fuse under dash just incase, nothing.

Did the paper clip just incase my hotwire wire wasnt working, nothing.

Had a trip to the track planned for tomorrow with a bunch of LS1's buddies. Was hoping to run the ultimate with race gas and turn up the boost, whatever.

Why dont you spend an hour or two go to the partts store get some wire and hot wire that thing with a dash a switch? Problem solved

that crossed my mind to just hot wire it but was wondering about the the relays and fuses and why they were needed.

How did you hook up the wires from the stock pump to the aftermarket? What color to what color? Some of the early Jabsco pumps had an odd way of hooking up the wires. Maybe things are still the same?

Do you have voltage at the relay? If you do, then the problem is your wiring from relay to pump.

Im no help but this makes me so happy that mine will go back together with an A-A.

The pump is a Johnson. Just red and black, very simple. I just hooked up the old stock pump to a hot wire and a ground and it ran. taking a trip to the parts store to pick up some testing equipment. My old meter not working for some reason.

My wiring was corroded at the connectors. Check these for juice, it may be your trouble. Then run that switch to hotwire the relay.

Hot wired the pump to the ign in the fuse box. Working fine. The connections at the relay looked like they had old dried up black grease all down in the plug. Didn't read your post till after I hot wired it. Taking it out to check knock with datamaster hopefully down to 0. Just keep workin' till I get it, then I'll install my ultimate.
