Re: IC pump

It wont turn on unless you have it hotwired or the it's up to the correct temp to kick on. You should have it hotwired to run all the time, but if you don't you can jumper it through the ALDL.

Re: IC pump

If it's hotwired then it should be on with the key on. Sounds like it's died on you or you have a electrical connection loose somewhere. If it's the stock style pump it probably went the way of the dodo.

when its hot and running, does it have a feelable vibration

I don't remember if the stock pump had enough power to vibrate or not. I ditched mine for a larger one a long time ago, you can hear it from like 5 feet away it sounds like a giant fish tank.

You could also pop the cap on your I/C and see if the fluid is moving, I would think you should be able to hear something going up front though.

even if its cold it should still go on cold

Yes it should run as soon as the key is turned on if it's hot wired... I'd check to see if your getting juice at the pump with a volt meter with the key on.. that'll tell you if your pump's dead or not getting power.

Yes, if it's hotwired it will run from the second you turn your key on till the second it goes off, unless you have a switch wired in, obviously.

I think when I bought mine it was like $60-$70, I got it from Waller because I was being lazy and didn't want to do any leg work :rotf:
