No joke this is the 25th email I've gotten like this since I put my Sy up for sale. So far the lowest offer i've received was $3500... this was of course after i was told i was crazy to think i could get 10grand for a 20 year old truck...

Tomorrow I'm going to go on auto trader and find a nice late 90's S-10/Sonoma for $5000 and email him the link. Then thank him for his offer and say "perhaps this is a more suitable vehicle to fit your limited budget"... One good insult deserves another. ;)

However, I think I'm going to try this approach next time I go to a dealer to buy a car.... the sticker says $40,000, but if you can let it go for $20,000 I can do that. I may even call this guy and have him come with me. Clearly his negotiating skills are top notch.

Tell him you can let it go for $5K but it has to be in Morgan silver dollars, tell him, he should be able to buy them cheap, since, unless they're 1921's, thet're over 100 years old and can't be worth as much as current Obama based money. Last time I looked, even the cheap ones were going for $20 a pop

PS. I cant remember what day you are leaving. My flight comes in on Thursday not Wednesday like I thought. You leaving Thurs or Fri?

I'm leaving around noon on Friday, but have work till 5 on Thursday. Oh and i just noticed yesterday that the IC pump is dead (awesome!) so now i can add "new IC pump" to the list.

Hopefully RPM has them in stock so i can get that taken care of before you get here. Definitely do not want to attempt to drive home without one of those.

Ya, especially the temps I will be driving through. Sacramento should be in the 90'2 maybe low 100's.

If it doesn't work out before you go, I will see you Monday or Tues morning. Yes?
