I'd probably go with either a Ferrari SuperAmerica, or 1970 Buick GSX Stage 2 ... love those cars... I will never let go of my Ty though, too much history :tup:

Well, I'd personally have to keep the SY. Gonna take a lot to pry that from my grasp.

BUT... IF I had to trade for something I think I'd be happy with a new Vette... With ALL the goodies of course. When you got the need for speed a simple base model just won't do.

69 camaro body on c6 z06 drivetrain and suspension. With twin turbos.
Or a 69 with the new GNX drivetrain(6 speed awd) and a twin turbo ls7
Ok its all unrealistic. More realistic a 97 trans am with a newer z06 engine and a 6 speed. Maybe a supercharger on it though.

I'd never give up the ty...if anything I'll add more syty's to the collection.

But, If I had to have a different non-daily car...GN or TTA, 1970 Chevelle w/ a 454 (probably not #'s matching...because I'd never be able to afford it.), or a Shelby Cobra replica kit car...

Forget about money, how much you could get for your truck or how much the other toy would cost, just base it purely on your hearts desire, but keep it within reason, like dont be "if I had the money, a Ferrari Enzo of course", Im talking realistically here :rotf:

Honestly, right now... I'd cosider letting it go for a nice, low mileage, well maintained Volvo 850 T5-R. Cheap, boxy, turbo, room for more HP. That would do it for me. But there's much more on that list if the opportunity presented itself. Evo9, GTO, Z06, NSX, etc. etc. After making my Typhoon To-Do list today, something cheap and reliable like the T5-R looks like a great idea.

I dont think I would trade off my Ty, I have too much time and money invested in it. Its more than just a car to me, its its own hobby. Now I do have a 78 lincoln town coupe that I would not mind trading a car straight across from. But if I had to trade my Ty, I would go for an Evolution VI.

MINT 66 VW vert + $50,000 or a numbers matching MINT 1970 Chevelle SS LS6, M22 4 speed (even swap). Only new car I'd give consideration to within reason is the Z06.

The only way ide sell the sy is for more fabrication equipment.
I would scrounge around for wrecked exotic parts (interior and suspension),
and build a new chassis around the syclone platform.
Then ide buy another sy or ty and morph the two.
The cool thing about my truck is that it is the same number as my home phone!

I don't see ever parting with the Sy. But the Ty and the Z28 could go together toward a new GTO if I can get one for the right price. Any exotic I can afford I probably can't afford to maintain, although picking up a reasonable 355 F1 has been considered. But at $12,500 for a cylinder head and $15,000 for a gearbox that won't happen.
