I would sell my Ty for an LS1-based Shelby Cobra kit-car - the good ones...no tthe cheap shit ones...real tube frame......yeah...sweet! It would not be quite the ATOM car or the Mallet Solstice, but whenever you see a Shelby Cobra, you have to stop and look...who cares if its not an original. That 6-liter with a little bit of work can be a N/A monster, and that frame handles..

realistically... Cherokee SRT8... i've actually put quite a bit of thought into getting one of these lately. sell off all 4 cars and just have 1 car payment and 1 insurance payment. Upside brand new car and no more GMC maintenance whore POS's... downside, 12/15 MPG :eek: ...sure thats not better or worse than a syty but my trucks arent daily drivers, so it would be hard to justify the $150 extra id be spending on gas.

From looking at everyone's answers, some of you may think that I'm a little crazy.

I was in the process of getting an 02 Z06 Electron Blue / Mod Red int. Then I found the Sy & had been wanting one since they came out, so I dropped everything on the Z06 & got the Sy. I'm sure that by the time I get done modding the Sy the Z06 would have been cheaper.

Someone mentioned GNX, I would maybe trade my Sy for a GNX. ;)

The Pending 2007 US Nissan Skyline GTR (concept, almost final design pictured below). Why? Well its past incarnations have been some of the sickest cars from a spec-headroom/capability perspective ever made and its predecessor (the R33) still holds the lap record at Germany’s famed Nuremburg Ring (remember, this is where the world’s exotic car makers go to test their wares). Nissan also has a big bug up their arss about beating that old record and competing with Porsche turbos (specifically the new 997 turbo) but at a sub 100k price. Sign me up (but they get the Z instead. Crazy? Can’t part with myty!! :tup:
