ignition starter switch

i have searched several days, yahooed and googled.
i cant find out where the ignition starter switch is located, anyone know??
not the key part on the column , it looks like this:

That pictured is what the rod from the ignition key switches on/off. The wiring pigtale from the truck plugs into that plug. It is on the top, halfway down the column.

me thinks you might want to get someone else to change it

it should be fairly easy to change, im not sure if its too much different on the typhoons but if you unbolt the steering column it'll drop down and it will still be tight but u should be able to get access to the switch directly on top of the column under the dash- i haven't done this on a blazer but that's how it is on a third gen firebird atleast, hope this is helpful

the hardest part is getting the dimmer and ign switches lined up to bolt down, i kept runing into lack of space to change mine
