Well long story short I joined about a year ago, just bought a Ty from a used car dealer in monroe wa.

Trans went out at 100 miles motor started falling apart at 150. A year later and several attorneys bills I just won and was refunded the majority of what I had to spend!!!

So now I'm looking again, dont want to end up with another pile! Shame on me if it happens again right...Anyways I'm looking somewhere between 12k and 15k Any suggestions? Anyone with experience buying something out of state?

I'm curious if anyone knows anything about this one

That sucks about your last truck! What happened to it since you seem to be looking for another. What number was it?

If you're going to sue everyone that sells you a truck after you buy it you might want to find something else. We bought our 93 back in 09. I had it for a month and popped the motor. Since I know what I am doing with the truck I didn't bug the seller since I realized it was due the vacuum line coming off of the turbo and over boosting the motor enough to wipe the bearings. How is anyone supposed to know that the motor or trans is about to fail?

Hell when I bought my 92 back in early 03, I lost the ECM, fuel pump, trans and then the engine all in the first year I owned it. These things are pos's, once you get past that and realize you're going to have to get dirty then I'd buy one. On a lighter note, 12-15k ought to get you a nice low mile truck with fewer issues. If you maintain them well and know what to look for you can prevent disasters. Then of course you want to cruise it around and not abuse it or you'll be suing the next guy for sure.
