I wanted a syclone for the longest time, just couldnt run across the right deal in the right location at the right time, so I had to settle for this:

Finally after searching for about 6 weeks after I sold my S10 (some of you may remember it, 96 black SS S10, lowered, 18's, blah blah halfway ricey lookin) for a vehicle this one popped up. Its a '99 A4/3.23 car with very very basic mods (ALL of them in sig). Only 11,800 miles when i picked her up last thursday. Owned by a 50+ year old couple and they were really anal about it....

First time to the track (2 days after i picked it up =P) it did this (car #346). Hoping for a 12.9X when I run it at Beech Bend (Bowling Green KY) on April 6th. It'll be close, but thats pushing it. Maybe on a set of sticky tires, we'll just have to see

Lights weren't quick enough for me on this pass

Mods in sig.....Not too bad for a 2wd on 245 street tires =)

Not tryin to come in here and start shit, I'm really excited about it lol. I respect syclones more than the average person, and when the right one pops up at the right time, the T/A will probably go.

Best bolt on per dollar is a compucar 150 wet shot, that with slicks and you can hit low 12s add a stall and 11.50s are in the cards no problem. ihave a 99ss, its a lot of fun also.

No nitrous for me, going to keep it completely N/A. This season all it will get is a yank 3000 stall (2.0 STR), Nitto drag radials, and either FLP or Hooker LT headers, plus boltons and free mods. I'm hoping for low 12's this year, probably in the 12.2-12.3 range. Next year is when its gonna get really fast.

My buddy has the exact same year and color Firechicken but he's got the 6-speed. He put in a whisper lid and removed the mufflers and that car just hauls ass. Enjoy it!

Hey Sycloned,
If you don't mind, what did you pay for that ride?
Thanks.

I ended up paying $22000 for the car with everything. Gave a little bit too much money, but it is by far the cleanest '99 I've ever seen. Dude kept towels over the floormats so they wouldnt get dirty =). Just rolled over 12,000 miles....

need a spare set of wheels for slicks? ken

Not just yet, I am looking to trade these wheels (17x8 Niche Throttles) for a set of 17x11 and 17x9.5 either ZR1 or TTII wheels if anybody would be interested....

Nice ride. My buddy has a 98 Formula. He has all the free mods, heads, cam and exhaust. I watched him run a 11.31 at 122mph last weekend. Those LS1s sure do run.

I'd sell it yesterday and start hunting for the right Sy/Ty.
Dan,please come down I-24 to Clarksville and let me show you why you need to sell that sweet Ram-Air.
