incorrect input to TunerPro

I logged a drive today and TunerPro starts showing boost at 77kpa instead of 101 kpa. I thought 0-100 kpa was vac and 101 and up is boost. I have no codes to indicate a bad MAP sensor and I have been over everything looking for vac leaks but I find none. My mechanical boost gage shows @ 4 in vac when TunerPro starts showing boost on the dashboard.
Any suggestions on my problem?

Re: incorrect input to TunerPro

Either you have a sensor issue or wiring issue, or you have some how loaded the wrong definition file in tunerpro that is setup for 2 bar.

Re: incorrect input to TunerPro

I'm pretty sure I have a glitch in TunerPro. I started the truck today and boost started at 100 kpa. Got to my destination and when I restarted the truck it started showing boost at @85 kpa. I tried rebooting the computer, unplugging everything but it still read wrong. I gave up and later while still driving it started reading right. Kpa matches the boost gage so the ECM is seeing the correct kpa but TunerPro is showing boost wrong sometimes. I may redownload everything and see what happens then.

When you first turn the key on, pause for a second before you crank the starter. The ECM has to do a baro reading and if your alreayd in the crank mode you can throw that off, which could offset the readings your seeing.

Re: incorrect input to TunerPro

After downloading tunerpro again and the associated files I still have the incorrect boost display on the dashboard. The correct info is sent to Autotune so I will just ignore the boost gage on the dashboard or change it to a different monitor as it is just useless info since I have a boost gage in the pod.
