Injector help

I recently bought a Typhoon with what was supposed to be a blown head gasket. It was only a craked head(between exhaut?intake valves). Now I am getting ready to reassemble and was concerned about the injectors. When removing them the small caps came off, can I reuse them or will these caps come off again and get sucked into the intake tract?? Also can I upgrade to 50lb injectors on stock motor/chip and add the chip later. I was going to add Ultimate chip. Thanks for any help given?? Someone got 3 used stock injectors???

You need the 50lb calibration to use them.

If you are going to use the stock injectors they are probably very dirty. There are several shops that can clean,flow test, and replace the o-rings and caps. It will cost 100 -150

The caps and o-rings are available cheap. At the very least replace them.


If the budget allows I have heard nothing but good things about the 50lb injectors using the 50lb Ultimate.
